  August 18, 2019 - Brought to the SWG checking in tasting. This was much better than I expected. Double decanted about 24 hours before -- then a bit of slow ox (about 6 hours) the next day. Lovely complex nose of green pepper, forest floor, some dark fruits. Palate was equally complex and approachable. As someone said at the tasting, I could sit and smell this wine all night. A very nice showing. While I don't think this is on the downhill curve yet, I am not sure it will develop to something greater than it already is -- which was pretty great.
