Has to be from a different bottling/year, etc. Have to agree with "wetrock" that this was darker, riper, further along in terms of age, and not as balanced as many previous bottles. Not going to score until I can try another bottle or two.

I should clarify that I have re-bought this wine several times so I can't say for sure if this was from a new shipment, or an older one. Unfortunately the cork was tossed so I can't get you the code number of this bottle but will happily post it on my next note, especially if the bottle shows like this last one.

8/21/19, 1:10 PM - Rick & Ilsa, the code is not on the cork but front label at the neck positon. My three unopened bottles have "L1827505", which means disgorgement date is 275th day of 2018 (i.e. Oct 2, 2018)

8/29/19, 10:37 AM - I'm going to clarify in my note but the bottle I opened was one I got from auction. As I noted the base vintage for that bottle was 2005. So it's clearly from a release 8+ years ago.
