The cigar box descriptor is often used for Haut Brion and its particularly applicable here. Tannins are fully resolved and there is a very pleasant sweet fruit that you get from mature Bordeaux on the palate. It's not in the league of '82 Latour or Mouton but there is a satisfaction that you get from consuming this wine as I suspect this is its apogee.
