Community Tasting Note

October 12, 2019 - Down to my last couple bottles of this wine. Really like the nose - a mix of red & black fruit, with a smoked meat note for additional complexity.

Seamless on the palate. Maybe a touch short on the finish, and the palate doesn't really follow through on that great nose, bur pretty enjoyable all the same. If you have this in the cellar and haven't tried it in a while, I'd advise pulling a bottle out to check in on it, as this doesn't strike me as a wine that will go 30 years.

10/12/19, 6:20 PM - This really filled out on the palate at dinner - the consensus was still that the '05 Campalto was the best wine, but the difference here was much closer than my initial tasting note on this wine.
