  November 2, 2019 - The sweet yet formidable tannins are certainly in ascendancy because the wine took several hours to open. Though it is even harder than I remember, its impressive hallmarks remain—purple-tinged color, classic rich nose and deep, layered and powerful flavors. This is not your typical “Burgundian” Clos des Papes. Think instead of the 2010 vintage on steroids! Again this will need a decade of rest before the monumental wine emerges. 99+ points.
