  12/9/19, 4:19 AM - My personal experience with Coravin is that for most wines, it can extend the drinkability for a few weeks, and only if you consume less than a third of the bottle, but beyond that, you quickly see oxidation and degradation of the aromas. High acid whites and very tannic young reds seem to remain unaffected the longest. But I certainly wouldn't use it to sample my best wines over several years. Fortunately, I didn't test it on my best wines, but I do use it frequently as I usually drink a bottle over 3-7 days and for that purpose, it is rather effective. YMMV

  The concept of Coravin is good and my previous experience is good too. But recently I find that several wine used with Coravin deteriorate quickly.
  
  I will take your comment and now I am very cautious when considering using this.
