  December 25, 2019 - Dynamic nose, red licorice and red fruits. This has freshness, and fine-teeth tannin. It is primary still, and is both silky and (for a Volnay) massive with mouthfuls of ripe raspberry. More representative of the vintage than the appellation, but I mean that in a good way. I would hold for at least five more years.
