November 28, 2019 - Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): From the wine list at Dulcis Vitis. This was much earthier than the '06 Bartolo Mascarello we had side by side. Some soy and mushroom on the palate here for me, with time in the glass it opened up more and the red fruit became more evident. This seems like it is in the drinking window and will not benefit from a lot of additional aging as the teritiary characteristics are coming through.

9/13/22, 7:51 PM - Just read your review...Love dining at Bruno's Restaurant in Alba. First ate there in 2004, again in 2012, 14, 15 and 17.. Hope to get there again soon
Amazing wine list, food and one of the most warm outgoing masters of the kitchen.
Also set up lots of private tastings at many not open to public vineyards
