  March 15, 2020 - Double-decanted for about 5 hours before drinking with sirloin and rib-eye. Sweet black fruit, menthol, mint and pencil shavings on the nose. Fresh and juicy on the palate with blackberry and black cherry flavours, and a touch of cedar. Tannins are fine. Medium finish. This is a nicely balanced wine, albeit still quite primary.
  
  This was our first bottle from a 12-pack and I would say this wine is open for business. However, I won't rush to try the next bottle as I think it has a lot of time in front of it and that its development will be relatively pedestrian.
