March 28, 2020 - The fill was into the neck and the cork was pristine; popped and poured. Purple core turning to deep garnet at the rim. Notes of blackberry, creme de cassis, and hints of earth. Medium bodied, with a somewhat stern structure, plenty of fruit; not showing all it has to offer. I should have read my last note; this needs double decanting at least a few hours in advance.
