The legs indicate a ripe, high octane load as corroborated by the nose of perfumed dark fruits, tobacco and smoked herbs. The palate is full-bodied, scrumptious with a lively grip of acidity, and velvety in texture. Black cherry, plums, dark chocolate, vanilla bean, and espresso form the luscious core that finishes long and juicy with gripping tannins laced by mentholated herbs. This is easily a crowd-pleaser and one of the best I’ve tasted from this estate. Drink now with a 30-minute decant until 2034.
