  May 20, 2020 - Rich, deep color for a barolo. A bit muted on the nose for me, with some violet, red fruit and a hint of menthol. Really nice red fruit component, reminds me of a Luden's cherry cough drop, with a bit of mocha and tar on the finish. Really firm tannins which pucker the mouth for a full minute. I would suspect that in another 5 or 10 years, this will evolve and be a really delicious wine; it's darn good now.
