July 8, 2020 - The owners of Chateau Gloria should change the name to Chateau Butch! This is heavy-duty St. Julien, Bordeaux from the massive 2009 vintage with bold colors of blood-red & navy-blue, dense flavors of sweet cassis fruit with campfire smoke, and resin with profound tannin. Impressive balance and a delightfully long finish. This wine should thrive & survive the next 2 decades with ease, and perhaps into the next ice age. Well done, Butch… I mean, Gloria!
