  Smells of dark candied fruit, earth funk, and menthol
  Tastes of dark red and black fruit with tangy earth
  Moderate chalky tannin that reverberates on the gums
  
  After 80 minutes:
  Smells of perfume and sweet plum
  Tastes of sappy forward wild fruit and resin
  
  This is an interesting and enjoyable wine; powerful and with grip, but still wild. Will be interesting in several years.
