  September 4, 2020 - Bottle 2, 'good' Krug. Opened as a backup to an underperforming bottle of the same. Initially lighter in colour, full straw to light gold, though darkening in glass to full old gold. Toasty, some hazelnut alongside the ginger notes. More vital. Good core of acidity through the rich mid-palate and long finish. Textbook, though cf 'bad' Krug 96 served alongside for a bottle variation warning. *****
