  September 26, 2020 - Opened to breathe for 3h. I've enjoyed several bottles of Tignanello over the years but this was a low point for me. Lots of evergreen, oak, tannins, and muted red fruit. Not bad just not great, which is what you expect at this price point! Probably opened it too early (or didn't let it breathe long enough) but I wonder how much better this bottle could really have been in 2-3 years time. Makes me want to test drive some '13 Flaccianello. Tonight, paired with pork stew. 90/91
