  September 29, 2020 - Strong and funky nose with a mix of meat, salinity, dark sour cherries which carried through the palette. The wine finished with moderate acidity and resolved tannin. It was almost like a crazy mix of Pinot Noir and CdP and then cranked up to the next level of intensity. The wine didn't really evolve through the night. It was more "intellectual" than enjoyable. At first I thought it was an off bottle but members like hiker_guy assured me that was typical of Cayuse.
