  October 4, 2020 - Watching Sunday Night Football with Walter (Eagles vs. 49'ers). Decanted 3 hours before serving. During decant perfumey aroma wafted through the kitchen. Purple-ruby in color. On the palate, I get dark fruit i.e. blueberries, cassis, but particularly dark cherries (I might have guessed Pinot Noir if tasting blind).Walter tastes cinnamon-nutmeg, perhaps allspice. This is a supple velvety wine yet complex. Good finish. Delicious. I believe this wine is at peak, but could stay there for some time.
