November 9, 2020 - Absolutely delicious. Spicy black plum, anise, menthol, and oregano all in evidence on the nose. In the mouth it was a harmonious blend of spicy black fruit, licorice, and warmed green herbs. Assertive acidity balanced by generous sun-dappled fruit with plenty of crunchy limestone-laden soil. Racy, deep, and focused. Ready now but will hold for 3-5 more years easily. Perfect with rare lamb chops with a cornmeal, mustard, and rosemary crust.
