December 4, 2020 - Tasted on PnP and it was thinnish, green veggies and ungenerous. I decanted it and gave it a few vigorous swirls. After 1 hour, much bigger and fuller flavors. Slight nose despite big Bordeaux glass, of cedar, currants, tobacco and raspberry compôte. Good fruit of plum, currants, a touch of black licorice, dry tannins. With a long finish of plum, savory tannins and a touch of balsamic. Bright in the mouth with lots of flavor. Very happy with this wine and it is drinking well with the decant. Probably good for 3-5 years with this late middle aged flavor profile.
