  December 23, 2020 - Wow...still holding strong after almost 17 years. Muted fruit of red cherry, strawberry, and red plum. Mostly have given way to the secondary flavors now of red licorice, stewed tomatoes, and baking spice and mushrooms. Slight acidity left and nice finish. Loving it right now.

  I am not surprised by the life - a friend told me the '18 needs a 120 minute decant...on a Pinot!
  
  Recall when this wine was $32...should have bought more. 😒
