April 3, 2021 - Very smooth and balanced wine. Does not need any air - tasted great right after PnP. Nose had delicious blue fruit and floral note, and mid-palate was fruit-forward (as I like) and just delicious. Finish was smooth with mild-mod acidity, and tannins were soft and mild. Definitely worth the $53 that I paid for it in mid-2020, with a major coupon from Total Wine. As I check Total Wine's website right now, cost is $79.97. Now that is inflation! Could it be due to Mr Inflation James Suckling rating it at 98 points? (Just subtract 4-6 points whatever Mr. Suckling rates a wine at to get a more real world rating.) Although I really enjoyed this wine, right now the cost is too much for what it is. There are Napa Valley Cabs that I would prefer to be drinking at $80 compared to this wine.
