  April 11, 2021 - All I can say is black fruit overkill, but it’s a very good way to die. This is on the second day, with also some rich tannins and a good amount of exhumed earthy soil. But my oh my was this puppy ever expressive when first opened. It was a full force of bright fruits and really awesome forest undertones, a hint a the garrigue even, and a beautifully floral and flinty nose. Of the two I think I like the second day more, but only cause I’m a big tannin freak, when it’s done right that is. Winner of the year from Mike for me at this time.
