5/18/21, 11:58 AM - This is the breakdown of the scale. I mostly live in the 85-99 range myself and I do not think that by todays standards that anyone recognizes an 80-84 point wine as "good".
95–100 Classic: a great wine
90–94 Outstanding: a wine of superior character and style
85–89 Very good: a wine with special qualities
80–84 Good: a solid, well-made wine
75–79 Mediocre: a drinkable wine that may have minor flaws
50–74 Not recommended -

5/18/21, 12:06 PM - Yeah to my taste I found this mediocre. I’ve been told it’s a good value though so maybe I need to try another bottle. To me I start at 80 and up for wines I would buy again, this barely missed the mark for me but I’d be happy if gifted.
