Very ripe, with excellent depth. Rounded feel, notes of dark cherry, sweet dark flowers, a touch of Port/vapour… dense and compact.
Full, round and very dense attack, very creamy and voluminous, still compact (more to give). Becomes ever more serious, showing great intensity, some sap and savoury elements, a redder fruit lift, chalk and grip. Intense, long, proper (impressive)3 people found this helpful 9,964 views

5/19/21, 1:19 AM - I'm not too familiar with Laroque, but I tasted a couple of samples, and it was consistently great. I like the power and richness, and very much appreciate those more savoury elements. Will be a long-lived wine, i'm sure.
