March 1, 2024 - Medium ruby colour
Med+ intensity on nose with primary aromas of red fruit (red plum), black fruit (blackberry, plum). Secondary aromas of oak (cedar, spice, vanilla). Youthful.
High acidity, high structured tannins, high alcohol, full body. Med+ intensity palate of blackfruit (blackberry, plum), herbaceous (tomato leaf). Secondary of cloves. Some tertiary starting. Long length.
Good balance, great intensity and some complexity. Very good.

December 11, 2023 - A very quiet wine with a serious vibe. No fruit, just airiness and dryness. A very weightless feel that is very out of stride for the current winemaking style in Saint Emilion. Not much barrel influence, which is very nice and gives me hope that this will age gracefully into a more classic direction. A tad bit hot....HOLD_
