NOSE: intense violets; medium-light mineral note; red licorice rope intermixed with otherwise purple fruit aromas; hint of pyrazine.

    BODY: medium bodied; youthful color.

TASTE: high acidity; still some medium-fine drying tannins; clean; relaxed, but youthful; still no tertiary aspects, but it is wide open; blueberry; clean --- not funky; medium concentration of fruit. Not a big bruiser of a wine, but not a waif, either --- I consider this to be a "flexible" Bdx.: a wine that could be successfully used in various situations. Fine to Drink Now if you prefer your Bdx. on the younger side, but if you like noticeable aged characteristics then you need to Hold for the time being.
