  June 21, 2021 - Open nine hours on the counter, though from the nose it might have been ready at open. Pours pitch dark, toasty on the nose with notes of dark cherry, blackberry liquor, concrete and wet stone. Balances meaty richness and brambly dark berries on the palate. Kirsch, tar, tobacco, caramel. A subtle garrigue note lurks in the background. Rich, mouth coating but deftly balanced. Held up great late in the evening on the second evening too. My first Reva so not sure how it evolves but it’s in an excellent spot now.
