Deep garnet in color; displaying intense combination of blue/black fruit aromas accompanied with notes of tobacco, liquorice, smoke, and bouquet garni. Presents formidable presence on the palate, offering rich flavors of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Elegantly structured, dense, with incredible depth; softly textured tannins envelope the palate leading to long mouth-coating finish. Beautiful transformation here. Great now with extended decant but will undoubtably drink well for many years ahead. Lovely.
