  August 29, 2021 - From memory: Popped and poured. Time travel in a bottle. This type of wine is so deliciously and shamelessly old-fashioned. Dark fruit and earthy aromas combined with some smoke and even tar. Not what I would drink everyday, but a wonderful bottle to remind ourselves of the history and tradition iconic appellations like Rioja comes with. Drinks well now but will surely last for decades.
