September 4, 2021 - Solid cork. Very little sediment - some chunky and a bit of smoke at the bottom of the pour. Deep ruby mulberry colour with perhaps just the beginning of some bricking at the rim, which is fairly transparent. Spiced red berries and plums, sandlewood, garrigue, fennel, beechnut, nutmeg and more on the nose. Just fantastic! Quite intoxicating on the nose. So many layers. So much going on! High glycerine, extract and alcohol, gobs and gobs of sweet, ripe fruit, quite lucious in the middle and then spicy on the tongue, with a finish that fans out and becomes feathery. As smooth as can be imagined. The tannins have been fully subsumed by the fruit at this point. With the nose, flavours and above all the texture, this has it all going on!

9/21/21, 4:02 PM - KUDOS for ALL your *effort* in posting this MARVELOUS followup TN! 👍 🙂 My only question, if you've the time: If you decanted it, for roughly how long? Finally, should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉
