Community Tasting Note

  • CWang wrote: 94 points

September 18, 2021 - Intensely perfumed in the nose, berries, cherries, coffee beans, mints, lavenders, roses, pencil shavings, and pinewood; very creamy, concentrated, and meaty on the plate, berries, cherries, bell peppers, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and wood spices, also still acidic and tight; long long finish; overall, 93-94 points at this stage, surprisingly still in its youth; will wait for another 5-6 years at least before the next bottle.

9/18/21, 2:15 PM - Thank you for the note PS....while I like to decant almost always, it is still not a substitute for age...I have other wines I can drink while waiting, so that helps!
