  October 28, 2021 - I did not know what to expect given the mixed reviews on this wine but was pleasantly surprised. Opened two hours before consuming. Lovely nose signaled what was to come. Deep dark fruits with notes of tobacco, leather and chocolate on the palate. Lots of depth and persistence. Excellent showing and the wine was improving in the glass but alas, one bottle between five didnt give much opportunity for a longer examination. Fortunately i have many bottles so its going on the ‘drink now’ list
