November 14, 2021 - Second Sunday Group: 1990 Burgundies (Neil's): Double blind. Deep ruby color. Cherry and something a bit deeper in the red fruit family, along with pine and forest floor overtones. Mixed red and black pinot fruit on the palate, with sous bois, iron and cigar accents. Complex and deep; powerful, with a long finish and a slight bit of tannin. Adds a spice note with time. Excellent. 92+ pts.

    My #2, Domino's #3
    Group #7, 64 pts

11/16/21, 8:36 AM - I have one bottle of the 1990 Maume Champeaux. May be the first Burg I ever bought (bought it on release!). waiting for the right time to open it.
