Community Tasting Note

December 11, 2021 - A near perfect wine. In an over the top lineup of Bordeaux highlights (think 86 Lafite, 70 Latour, 90 and 95 HB, etc); this one stood out as best of the best. It was marvelous. Seamless and complete, perfumed, elegant and gentle on the palate, raspberry and red Apple skin with depth of fruit. This is on the long plateau - not even beginning to fade, but already at peak.

    12/16/21, 12:03 AM - Nice note JVIZ.

I've been drinking some 90's Bordeaux but have not had time to post on all of them. Am just curious if you had to pick 90 Margaux or Cheval?

12/16/21, 5:00 AM - Thank you! I was fortunate to taste the 82 Cheval in September (bought on release from a very good cellar) but have not tried the 90. I can say that I would rather drink the 90 Margaux than the 82 Cheval today, based on structure, openness, etc. so perhaps by extension, might suggest to let the 90 CB rest a while longer. A note of caution, n=1 of each in my case
