December 11, 2021 - Solid mineral smooth water with some spices and fruit kick! I had it with a flat iron steak with some chimichurri sauce. The spices probably came from the lingering sauce on the palette. Crane at this point of time for this vintage is like a refreshing mineral structured Cabernet franc with dark fruit kicking alive ; you also don't get any harsh cab franc palette pulls. Plenty of cassis and licorice on the nose. Drink up!

12/14/21, 3:38 PM - I enjoyed the 2010 vintage young and recently came across a bottle in the secondary market at a decent price and decided to pick it up. I’ve had a handful of Mike’s cabs with some age on them and I wasn’t wowed. Hopefully this wine is a difference maker. Thanks for your thoughts. Take care.
