  February 24, 2022 - A bit too heavy on the oak. Underneath, this is quite attractive, darker in profile, with violets, ripe but restrained black fruit, tar, gravel and cassis. Tannins are present but starting to soften. It’s a shame about the oak - this would be a 91+ without the heavy oak.
