March 31, 2022 - One hour slow ox......a beautiful Bdx nose, deep, rich, almost succulent. The palate reveals much of the same and over 3-4 more hours of slow ox only improves further. WOTN for the majority of us at tonight's tasting. The layers of red/dark red/black fruit are so great and complex. The integration of the tannins/acidity are very balanced. This is drinking exceptionally well for those who love great Cali fruit. For the true Bdx crowd, more years in the cellar will reward, but it's sooo good right now!

4/1/22, 1:48 PM - gt, I drink almost everything Cali and Bdx, but this is entering a beautiful drinking window now and will last for a few decades, and for those who really like big Napa wines, this is drinking there right now.....but ever so classy and balanced. I might have even been a point or two low in my score for some.

4/8/22, 12:10 PM - You are right on the money! Sadly for me I only have 1 bottle so I can't crack it open until it gets to heaven!!!! I'm drinking tonight a baby 2019 Rhys Alpine Chardonnay and undecided between 2005 Cliff Lede Poetry or 2012 David Arthur Elevation 1147. What do you think?
