May 13, 2022 - This seems to be a little past its prime, despite still being very enjoyable now. The fruit is still lovely and present, not at all showing its age, but once you get past the entry it falls a little flat as it progresses without a ton of spine. I had this and the 96 on the same day, and this shows much more fruit but the 96 has more structure with better acidity. I also drank this next to the 12, and I feel like it was probably just as good or better at age 10. Overall, it is holding up better than most Napa wines would at this point, but I would drink it sooner rather than later.
