But because Marsannay is viewed as a “less favored” locale in terms of white burgundy wine pricing, you can get the next tier of wine from this producer for only $10 more a bottle. And while I am a big fan of cellar defenders, when the price for the single vineyard wine is as minimal as that, I honestly think you are better served by spending the extra bucks and getting the more complex wine.
