P&P; delicious WA Cabernet that is drinking really well right now, straight from the pop. Cassis and black cherry fruit, cigar tobacco, dark-roast coffee beans and vanilla oak flavors. This was a big hit with our group. Drink now - 2032.
White
With a little softiness throught he mid palate.

P&P; Still a massive wine with a lot of upside at year 15. Easily a 20 year wine, likely longer. Blackberry and plum fruit, oak barrel spice, vanilla, dark chocolate. Some juicy acidity in there as well, and light black tea tannins. Happy I found more of this on WineBid (for a fraction of the $85 release!) Drink now - 2029+.

Lime, meadow herb and even a touch of bay on the nose. Core of restrained exotic fruit and citrus zest with flinty/chalk minerality. Perfect balancing acidity.
Has lasted much longer than my original projection so may yet surprise further over the next few years. I will never know - my last! Till perhaps ?2029
Rosé
2022 Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rosé Vin de Pays de l'Hérault Grenache Blend, Grenache (view label images)
Easy drinking wine. Great price point.

Not bad, pleasantly surprised by this one, but not a style of wine I personally enjoy.

Fruit compote and raisins. Not my thing.

Made with 100% Palomino from Viña la Platera in Pago Miraflores, 12.5% ABV. Chalk and apple, generous but energetic, juicy acidity, whiff of green olive, lovely salinity, impact and length.

2020 Ecstatic Truth Wines Recliner El Dorado Zinfandel Blend, Zinfandel (view label images)
Juicy, yummy wine! A little stemmy. Very enjoyable.

Lots of interesting flavors - tropical fruits, baking spice. This was a surprise hit for us
White - Sweet/Dessert
Savory and nutty, heavy on the palate but not without acidity.

After only a very short decant; Generous wine; lots of ripe fruits, with good amount of acidity which keeps some of the tannin in check. No graphite found by me. Very nice experience

Served chilled. High acid, yet came across sweet. I wanted to love this, but it didn't quite work for me. May have needed more chill?

Insane QPR here. Massive spice with bombastic tropical fruits. Get as much as you can.

Tart on the nose. Light and refreshing, very tart. Served chilled.

That is entirely different than the Pichot. Straight and delineated. Punchy.

Berry pie and cobbler on the nose. Blueberry, vanilla and almond. Underbaked pastry aftertaste. Too strongly "pastry" for me. Served chilled.

Fuller than their other estates wine the Chateau Tronquoy with more character as well. Expect in two years on delivery we will have a more put together wine ready to open and drink. Candied floral notes shine through.

Very frontward acidity, grips your teeth out. Plenty of soft fruit and greener than the LA Dame de Montrose. More going on. Going to be delicious. Excellent.

Some soft nuttiness to the nose. With swirling a soft herb note emerges and comes through.

Stemmy on the nose. Super juicy with nice tannins and light oak notes. Served chilled.

Good Chianti for the table, pizza / pasta wine. It got a little drying. Probably fading. Drink up.

Fairly light weight for a Rheingau spatlese. Nice peach, apple and lemon notes but the fruit is subdued a bit and seems a bit dilute when compared with the best spatlesen in the area. Light straw color. Good acid balance. No botrytis detected. Over priced.
Red
Dry and refreshing. Very slight butter notes, which I don't love, but overall an enjoyable wine. Served Chilled. The 5% Gamaret stops it from being a Beaujolais.
Red
Juicy and refreshing. Served chilled. Yummy!
Red
Riper than I remember, more depth with good crunch to it.

Very Good++/Excellent-
From 375ml, drank well from PnP and over a couple of hours. Had a week+ prior to entering this TN, no notes, but though this doesn't present notable depth, it's well made and showing nice aged elements already.

Medium ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, cigar box and leather. Medium taste of blackcurrant, tobacco, cedar and leather. Medium (+) long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Medium body. A very good Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now or over the next ten years. Goes well with beef or lamb.
