Yest bomb on the nose. Crisp. Leesy! Medium bodied. Very light sweetness. Delicious, biscuity, and not unlike a decent Champagne. Impressive. $18

2006 Olssens Gewürztraminer

Huge lime on the nose, with some dill. Wow, oddly flabby on the palate - for a NZ wine, this has zero acidity to it. Subtle, not varietally typical. Hmm.

2008 Shinas Estate Viognier The Innocent

Floral nose. Not heavy on the palate. Very floral, medium+ body, but with good structure. Medium- acid. Balanced, nice stuff.

Slightly bricked color. Interesting nose, strawberry, Pinot-y bubble gum. Fading fruit, with nice secondaries. Lightly medicinal. Integrated. $15

2007 Undone Pinot Noir

I'm going to go against everyone here, and most people at this tasting, and say that this wasn't at all bad. The color was very light, salmon-tinged. Strawberry and raspberries on the nose, with acidity wafting up. Light, extremely juicy, smooth. Light acidity and body and tannins. Tastes aged. Ok, it's boring, but it's entirely pleasant, and any drinkable Pinot for $12 gets a thumbs up in my book.

2008 Labyrinth Tempranillo Haka

Open nose, with lots of talc and plum. Tannic, medium+ acid and body, extracted. Very interesting. Food wine. $20

Red cherry nose - candied and perfumed. Extracted. Tannic, medium+ body and acid. Very pleasant and earthy.
