Vegetal evolution, good intensity but seems to lack richness, a poor bottle? Does not seem representative for Pernot BBM style or quality. A bit of a puzzle. Not rated.

Rich, Turkish delight almost, clearly a Grand Cru, beautifully toasted oak, nice and buttery, wonderful acifity, magnificent.

Fabulously fragrant, Chambolle-like. Of the highest quality, still young, great style, finesse and length.

Compared to the Dujac Clos St. Denis deeper and more structured, spicier, a lot of wood, very pure, still s bit unformed but opens up beautifully over two hours.

Still closed, finesse, many layers, depth, structure and length. Long life. 2016 - 2036.

Sweet fruit, impressive depth, but so much oak. Not high on toast but there is just too much of it. No finesse or style - at least not my style.

Big nose of beefstock and eucalyptus, deep, no noticeable wood, pretty evolved already, power and velvet, excellent length.

Excellent depth, sweet fruit, less expressive than the Hill of Grace, massive, young and quite closed still, a very impressive classic, firm structure, long. Long life.

A wine of elegance and finesse, lovely focus and freshness, playful.

Compared to the Perrières 2000 richer and more exotic, archetypal Combettes, almost Grand Cru.

Delicious, so fine, feminine and shapely, powdery and perfumed, toute en finesse.

Black, inky, incredibly deep and rich, sweet fruit, liqueur, not as exotic as the HoG, not as classic as the Grange. Impressive rather than charming.

Young, still closed, a structured and elegant 1997, less sweet than some other vintages.
