Introduction
Monthly tasting group dinner featuring red burgs. The were three tables of 6-7 people.

Pale gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. Nose has light fusil, eart, citrus, mineral. The palate is very earthy, stones, citrus, light, long. Hint of premox.

Nose has green apple, nutty, soft yeast, bright. Palate is bright too, crisp, clean, nice lift, apple, mineral, light yeast, long finish. Very good indeed.

Dark red color, no bricking. Drank 1 glass over 1.5 hrs. Nose is quite earthy, savory, cherry, raspberry, metallic, developing a nice floral element over 20-30 minues, blood. The palate has consistent fruit, tart, integrated tannins, tart, light body, medium finish, slightly metallic.

Dark red color. Opened bottle 2 hours before event. No decant. Drank 1 glass over 1.5 hours. Nose shows cherry, raspberry, a bit of funk, wet earth, anise, spice. The palate has medium body, integrated tannins, elegant mouth feel, cherry, raspberry, lots of mineral, spice, medium plus finish.

Medium gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. This a lovely young Sauternes, great nose with honey, botrytis, apricots, spice, florals. The palate is rich and viscous, nice balance of sweetness and acid here, bright flavors of apricot, citrus and spice, very long finish. Elegant and way too easy to drink right now.
