Introduction
A soiree at the Casa, with plenty of close friends. So many wines were opened that it really became a wine all star night! Most of the openings were impromptu, so a lot of these quick impression ratings (that is what they are) were made from the pop and pour.

Serviceable red with pleasant showy fruit and some medium body and a little nuance to match. Solid QPR wine. First of the night and not a bad start.

Absolutely delicious, with plenty of complex and developed notes. Palate is rich and fragrant. Also long. Pleasant surprise of the night and probably the consensus favorite white.

Seductive, hedonistic right bank with plenty of subtlety and depth. Long silky but full tannin finish. Sexy. One of the best bottles opened this night and everyone loved it. Still young.

In my opinion the wine of the night. Easily. So powerful, yet so subtle and complex. Enigma of a wine. Rich red fruits, plenty of fragrant rose and deep blossom flowers, seductive perfume, lavender, herbal notes, and plenty of other subtleties. Plenty of length and am expressive palate. Beautiful, rich, seamless and profound. Wow! What a wine!

Layers of brown sugar, baking spices, dried fruits and some nuttiness. Rich palate.

My favorites were the Monbousquet, the Domenico Clerico, the Aalto, the Gravonia and both dessert wines.
