Introduction
This is by far the nicest cellar door, with a beautiful terrace and very friendly staff. You can even eat some little snacks there, which is a rarity. So it's perfect for lunch.
Wines: When I typed up my notes, I was shocked... The high end wines are good. But all the others I was quite surprised, my notes were really low (and I was in a great mood, so I don't think there was any negative drive there, actually if any rather the other way) So I think overall the top wines are good to even great in the best vintages but the mid- to lower end wines I think are dramatically overpriced for their quality. If I would have to guess, I think this is a result of the lack of focus (why do you need to do so many different wines and varietals such as Barbera or a Moscato here) and the limited involvement in the vineyard.
On a high note, their pricing for older vintage wines is very fair, so it's worth a stop to do BYO in one of the restaurants for dinner.

2011 Two Hands Shiraz Gnarly Dudes
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Nice light little barossa, typical, but as with the Rockford Frugal Farmers, this wine is just a style, that I don't approve, Syrah/Shiraz is not a grape to be made into such a light wine.
Red
2011 Two Hands Cabernet Sauvignon Sexy Beast
Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
The wine has notes that hints that the grapes were not fully ripe or at least not evenly ripened (and loads of them). Edgy tannin structure and unbalanced
Red
2011 Two Hands Brave Faces
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Light with little else than a bit of fruit forward notes on the palate...
Red
2010 Two Hands Shiraz Bella's Garden
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Raspberry, a bit sweet, nice barossa shiraz but definitely not spectacular, but what is interesting is tasting this next to the other 'gardens' which means shiraz grown in other regions of Australia and you can clearly taste the difference, which is always nice to see. It was nice for me to reconfirm that I really like Barossa fruit best.
Red
2010 Two Hands Shiraz Sophie's Garden
Australia, South Australia, Limestone Coast, Padthaway
Very sweet, medicinal and slightly short on the finish.
While not particularly good to drink right now, I think this could develop into something quite nice.
Red
2010 Two Hands Shiraz Barney's Block McLaren Vale
Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
The first wine, I really liked in this tasting (and we were sitting there already for a while). Very dense and balanced, classic herbs mixed with cherries, strawberries and mulberries. Nice
Red
2009 Two Hands Shiraz Ares
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Complex and less fruit driven than the Barney's block, it has a very nice mix of fruit and spices, especially loads of Christmas spices.

Red - Fortified
2007 Two Hands Fly By Nighters
Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
Very high in alcohol, making it a bit unbalanced, classic port nose with some cherries an licorice. Good but really nothing special
