July 3, 2020 - Luscious. Wonderfully rich, fruity Shiraz. 3rd and final bottle purchased after visiting the winery in 2012. Perfectly stored and decanted one hour. I'd suggest drinking over the next few years. The wine is harmonious and perhaps won't further improve with time in bottle. I love its current balance at age 11. The fruit will eventually fade, and this does not seem like the type of earthy northern Rhone Syrah that shines best after it turns. (If I had three more bottles, I'd give it a chance to prove me wrong.) Compliments to the Two Hands crew. Glad I visited you years ago!

November 11, 2012 - Tasting at Two Hands (Two Hands Winery, Barossa Valley): Complex and less fruit driven than the Barney's block, it has a very nice mix of fruit and spices, especially loads of Christmas spices.
