Rosé - Sparkling

Copper and salmon colour, rich style as usual, ripe Pinots, vibrant, quite delicious.
White
2002 Domaine de la Louvetrie (Landron & Fils) Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie Le Fief du Breil France, Loire Valley, Pays Nantais, Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie
91 points
Lovely colour, intense but light for age; ever so slight initial oxidative note on the nose blows off; hint of honey; lovely ripe citrus fruit, very characteristic minerality and salinity, delicious freshness, strikes the magical balance between lightness and intensity as only aged Muscadet can. And Aligoté perhaps.
Red
2007 Domaine de la Butte Bourgueil Mi-pente France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Bourgueil
91 points
Silky, wonderful depth, good weight of ripe black fruit, hint of stables, lifted white pepper notes, excellent typicity, lovely freshness ("croquant", the sommelier said) and minerality, good tannic grip, lovely length. A wonderful expression of its grape, vintage and terroir.
