White
2004 Pierre Morey Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru
87 points
Deepish gold.
Very vegetal nose, madeirised, some raisiny sweetness, potatoes!
Loads of oak with no taste of fruit, just about drinkable but not memorable.
White
2006 Domaine Chandon de Briailles Corton Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton Grand Cru
90 points
Very light silver green.
Buttery nose with a hint of age.
Still very youthful tasting, citrus fruit, somewhat oaky in the mid palate suggesting this wine needs to sit in the cellar for a while.
