On the palate ripe dark berries and cherries, vanilla, oak, coconut, good acidity and round tannin with still a pleasant bite. Harmonious and mature wine. On the palate a juicy start with dark and red forest fruits, some earth, salty licorice, vanilla, beautiful acidity and round tannin with still a pleasant bite. Medium plus length. A harmonious and refined wine which is ready now and still has a future until at least 2019+.

The bouquet is a bit locked, but shows some red forest fruits. On the palate dark forest fruits, plums, sweet spices, earth, cocoa, coffee and a lot of vanilla from the oak which is not really integrated yet. There is juicy and fresh acidity and slightly sticky tannin. The wine has a good length. Overall a beautiful wine which will improve with a few more years of ageing. 2020+? Good acidity and round, slightly sticky tannin. I scored the wine 90 for this evening, but with a few more years of ageing that could well be a bit higher. Around 2020?

Concentrated bouquet with ripe blackberries and blueberries as well as some rustic flavors. On the palate ripe and sweet fruits of all sorts; berries and cherries, red as well as black. There is a firm dose of oak. There is good acidity and round tannin, but the wine is still very youthful. Full bodied and a good length. Needs a few more years in the bottle. Around 2020? 89+ for this evening.

Beautiful and mature bouquet with sweet spices, clove and mushrooms. On the palate there is development, but still some dark berry fruits, sweet licorice (root), vanilla, beautifully fresh acidity and slightly sticky tannin, a pleasant touch of sweetness and a good length. Overall a beautiful and well balanced wine with beautifully integrated oak. Completely ready now and there is no hurry at all, but also no real reason to wait much longer. Drink now or within the next 2 – 3+ years.

In the bouquet dark forest fruits, roasted coffee, chocolate and some green herbs. On the palate sweet and ripe dark forest fruits like blackberries and blackcurrants and cherries, licorice, chocolate, vanilla, herbs and spices as well as animals. Beautiful acidity and beautifully round, slightly sticky tannin. A wine with many layers, a great harmony and length. Early maturity now and a promise for the future. A score of 92+ for this evening, but around 2022 this might be a bit higher. Great wine!

Beautiful bouquet with dark forest fruits, leather, tobacco and beautiful oak. On the palate ripe dark forest fruits and dark cherries. sweet licorice, some toast, beautiful acidity and ripe tannin. A lovely wine and almost impossible not to like it. Ready now and the next 3 – 5+ years.

Overall a beautiful wine in its very early maturity stage now. For this evening 92, but around 2020 probably a bit higher.

On the palate dark and red forest fruits, sweet licorice, beautiful acidity and round tannin with still a soft but good bite. Beautiful wine already, but it is not showing yet the complexity and finesse which it holds in store. Wait until 2022 at least! 93+ for this evening.

In the bouquet a pleasant touch of barnyard beside the dark forest fruits and the sweet spices, smoke, tobacco, vanilla and animals. On the palate beautiful dark forest fruits, leather, good acidity and soft and round, but still firm tannin. Really beautiful and complex wine which is in its young maturity stage now and will still be a feast around 2020+.
